About the Show

Cam Girl is a window into the world of Kelsey, a cam sex worker who sheds her clothes and fantasies for men around the world from her Central Florida bedroom.

Cam Girl is a window into the world of Kelsey, a cam sex worker who sheds her clothes and fantasies for men around the world from her Central Florida bedroom.

On camera, she proudly, shamelessly lacks the boundaries that typically keep us from fleshing out our fantasies; in reality she is tightly bound by anxiety and circumstances that have left her incapable of stepping foot outside her small apartment.

Cam Girl boldly exposes the lives of three queer women navigating the sex industry and the bond they share as they attempt to overcome their addictions and mental illness.

This show is an audio and visual immersive experience that aims to synthesize elements of cinemetography, live stream performances, and live theater into one piece.  Featuring an all Queer & non-binary cast and an all Queer production team, this show attempts to bring together Queer artists to make a stunning piece of live performance.

Emily strives to reveal the pieces of herself and humanity that are often overlooked or ignored. Her plays expose the people behind the labels given by society. She is inspired by those living unashamed of who they are and what they do. She is based in Kansas City, Missouri where she is a resident playwright at Midwest Dramatist Center and works at Unicorn Theatre. Emily is so excited for her new partnership with Theater Oblivion.
